To preface this cat was an outside cat that ran up to me while I was outside by my pool when I was like 13. It was a kitten when it walked up to me

and we had 4 acres of land so there was no other cats in sight and none of my neighbors even had a cat. So we decided to start feeding this kitten

and next thing you know it was 6 years later and it was still around. 6 months ago we moved to another house and we

brought the cat with us to see if we kept it outside if it would stay around. Shockingly we setup her litter box and bed in the garage and she acted like

nothing changed. Then around 2 months ago she just vanished out of no where which was very odd after always coming to the door for food

before bed so she clearly wanted to stay. I just assumed she was old and it was her time as I never really figured out how old she was.

Jump to yesterday night while I'm at the local gym (maybe like 1 mile away from my house) I walk out at like 10pm to see a very malnourished cat on top of my car.

a picture of it to show my friend. I get home and something just possessed me to look at the picture I had and compare it

thought d d 2 months ago. Im taking her to the vet tomorrow to see if she is ok and after that I'm buying a collar with my name and number so this

Asn... At best, you found your cat, at worst, you saved a stray cat :)

sciinfgeo That's incredible, I'm so glad you found her (or she found you)! Hopefully everything goes well at the vet.

whoscoal OP Update: she is mostly ok. Shes underweight but was told to feed her wet food mixed with dry food. Also has to take some antibacterial stuff for an infection but other than that she is ok. Gotta brush her a lot as-well cause her vitamin intake was low causing her to lose hair.
